James Walker

Associate

James has 3 years of professional experience working in private credit and institutional banking.  He was most recently an Investment Analyst at Metrics Credit Partners in Sydney where he worked across both leveraged & acquisition finance, as well as mid-market real estate.  Responsibilities included end-to-end investment analysis and deal execution, as well as portfolio management responsibilities.

Prior to joining Metrics, James was a Graduate at Westpac Institutional Bank in Sydney.  During his time at Westpac, he rotated through the Consumer & Industrials, Institutional Property, Credit Portfolio Management and Project Finance groups as part of the Corporate and Institutional Banking Graduate Program. 

James has a bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology at the University of Western Australia.  He has also completed New York University’s Certificate of Advanced Valuation.  While at University, James was heavily involved in the University of Western Australia’s Student Managed Investment Fund, where he managed a team of 20 student analysts in managing an Australian equities portfolio.
