Sam Savis

Associate

Sam has 4 years of professional experience across restructuring and audit & assurance. He was most recently an Associate in KordaMentha’s restructuring team, where he advised financially distressed companies across a range of sectors, as well as key stakeholders including lenders and investors. His responsibilities encompassed detailed financial analysis and diagnostics, cash flow assessments, and the preparation of independent business reviews, alongside active stakeholder management. Sam also contributed to M&A advisory engagements for several tertiary education providers and supported the divestment of a government services business with $40 million in annual revenue.

Prior to joining KordaMentha, Sam began his career at KPMG as a Graduate and subsequently Senior Analyst in the audit & assurance team, gaining exposure to mid‑market clients across diverse industries.

Sam holds a Graduate Diploma of Chartered Accounting (GradDipCA) and is on track to become a Chartered Accountant (CA). He also holds a Bachelor of Commerce, majoring in Accounting and Finance, from the University of Melbourne.
