Samuel is a Chartered Alternative Investments Analyst (CAIA) with 3 years experience across corporate finance and management consulting. He previously worked as a corporate finance analyst at boutique intangible asset advisory specialist, EverEdge Global. At EverEdge, Samuel provided end-to-end support across international M&A and valuation mandates for the firm’s mid-market Australasian clients. Before transitioning to corporate finance, Samuel started his career in EverEdge’s management consulting division, providing specialised intangible asset strategy and commercialisation services to over 50 clients, ranging from start-ups to international mid-market firms valued at over $500m EV.

While still at University, Samuel worked alongside the CEO of a VC-funded medical devices start up, AVASA. Here he provided research analysing prospective commercialisation pathways as the start-up moved towards regulatory approval and a prospective launch in the US med-tech market.

Samuel has a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance and International Business) from the University of Auckland, is a Certified Financial Modelling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA) with the Corporate Finance Institution (CFI), and has recently completed a Certificate in Applied Corporate Finance from NYU Stern.
